Karim Shallwani is an experienced pediatric dentist currently providing comprehensive dental treatment to pediatric patients at Blue Cloud Pediatric Surgery Centers since November 2022. Previously, Karim has worked at Bay Ridge Smiles Pediatric Dentistry since February 2017, focusing on traditional dental treatments for young children and adolescents, with an emphasis on caries control and alternative restorative techniques. From July 2016 to October 2022, Karim served as an associate pediatric dentist at Kids Dental Smiles, where unique behavior management programs were developed for patients with special needs. Karim's professional journey began at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center, where Karim completed a residency and served as Chief Resident from 2015 to 2016. Karim holds an Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry degree from Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, a Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Pacific.
