Andy Kim is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in structural engineering and aerospace systems. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering, Structural, at Blue Canyon Technologies since October 2019, Andy Kim has developed and analyzed structures for ESPA class microsatellites, focusing on dynamic analysis of structural and vibroacoustic responses in launch environments. Prior experience includes a tenure at Sierra Nevada Corporation from February 2010 to October 2019 as the Lead Structural Engineer, performing comprehensive stress analysis on spacecraft components. Earlier roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation included contributions as a System Engineer and Stress Analyst for the Space Based Infrared System and Joint Strike Fighter F-35 Program, respectively. Andy Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
