Position Purpose: The Electrical Systems Engineer II will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

Job Responsibilities:
Act as an interface between the electrical engineering team and the systems team by leveraging a solid electrical engineering foundation to help develop system level solutions to difficult technical challenges.
Work with representatives from a variety of engineering discipline to develop trade studies, architecture proposals, and operation plans for satellite Perform detailed and data driven analysis to help guide design decisions.
Review and provide feedback on subsystem designs to ensure the vehicle is robust and meets all electrical requirements at the system level. Work with senior engineers on the most complex problems as part of a larger team, while refining your mentorship skills with more junior engineers on other projects.
Create and maintain detailed design documentation for use by other engineers, other teams, and external Hold formal and informal system design reviews with both peers and mentors as needed.
Create and maintain requirements for existing and new electrical design projects by working across engineering teams to understand system needs and hardware capability.
Design both flex and round wire harnessing as Show an ability to both make updates to existing designs and start new designs at the requirements gathering stage.
Use a variety of tools to analyze and simulate satellite electrical systems by selecting the best tool for the job as Generate schematics using an ECAD tool, diagram system grounding schemes, or develop custom tools to help to verify pinouts and system connectivity.

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
