Miriam Newmark

Clinical Director at Blue Balloon ABA

Miriam Newmark, M Ed, BCBA, LBA has extensive work experience in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Miriam is the current Clinical Director at Blue Balloon ABA, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Clinical Director Maryland, BCBA at Attentive Behavior Care from July 2016 to December 2020. Miriam also served as the SHEMESH Early Childhood Special Education Consultant at The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore from September 2013 to August 2016. In this role, they provided consultation to multiple preschools, attended IEP meetings, and conducted presentations on behavior and social skills. Before that, Miriam worked at Catapult Learning as a Supervisor, where they supervised self-contained classes, trained staff, and developed behavior intervention plans and curriculum for children with Autism.

Miriam Newmark, M Ed, BCBA, LBA holds a Bachelor's degree from Charter Oak State College. Miriam also obtained a Post Masters Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, as well as a Masters Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. In addition to their educational background, Miriam has acquired certifications such as the OBM Specialist Certificate from ABA Technologies, Inc. and the BHCOE Accreditation from the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. Miriam is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst.
