Greg Whitfield has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Greg started in 2002 as a Media Buyer at Cossette, and then worked as a Media Manager at MediaCom from 2005 to 2010. Greg then became a Media Director at MediaCom Canada from 2010 to 2013. Greg later joined GroupM as a Media Trading Director from 2013 to 2018, and then worked as a Media Director, Marketing at Reckitt for a year. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Founder/Media Consultant at Field Media. Most recently, Greg was the Senior Vice President, Performance Intelligence at Edelman, where they led the Performance media-marketing team and developed advertising strategies. Currently, they are the Head of Media at Blu Ivy Group.
Greg Whitfield earned a BA degree in Business Studies from The University of Sheffield, which they attended from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Cramlington High School from 1994 to 1999. In addition, Greg obtained various certifications from Google and The Trade Desk in 2021, including the Google Ads Display Certification, Google Ads Search Certification, Edge Academy Certified: Data-Driven Planning, and Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations.
