Ngaio Bowthorpe is a communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, particularly within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Communications Manager at Blue Ventures since January 2020, Ngaio previously worked as a freelance public relations executive from May 2015 to January 2020, and as Head of Communications at Farm Africa from June 2006 to February 2015, where responsibilities included leading global communication strategies and managing media relations in eastern Africa. Other roles include Press Officer at Sense, Film London, the British Film Institute, and PREMIER PUBLIC RELATIONS LTD. Educational qualifications include an advanced diploma in counselling from Heartwood Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a BA Hons in Classics from the University of Leeds.
