Taran Singh Kainth is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in venture capital, product innovation, and startup development. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Misfit Ventures and an Angel Investor at Blossom Social, Taran previously held the role of Principal of Product, Strategic Initiatives and Innovation at EQ Bank, where responsibilities included defining product roadmaps and leading cross-functional collaborations. As CEO and Co-Founder of Flahmingo, Taran launched Canada’s only commission-free fractional investing platform, raising $4.1 million and managing a diverse global team. Taran's early career includes founding Sharyeo, creating a peer-to-peer rental marketplace for creatives, and various strategic roles, such as Entrepreneur In Residence at Mount Royal University. Taran holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Mount Royal University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary.
