Peter Vlahos has extensive experience in fire safety and emergency management, currently serving as Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator for Bloomfield Township Fire Department since December 1996. Responsibilities include overseeing the Fire & Life Safety Division, conducting Cause and Origin fire investigations, managing inspections and enforcement, and coordinating emergency operations. In addition to practical fire service roles, Peter Vlahos is also an instructor for the National Fire Protection Association's Fire Inspector Program with the Michigan Fire Inspectors Society and recently served as a Fire Inspector Instructor at Schoolcraft College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Safety Administration and Emergency Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science, complemented by an Associate of Science in Fire Fighter Technology and Business Administration.
