Joseph V. Fleres serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Bloomfield Public Schools in New Jersey since September 2012. Fleres has extensive experience in educational leadership, including roles as Director of Elementary Education and Supervisor of ESL (K-6) at Brookdale School, as well as Principal at Prospect Park Board of Education. Fleres has also held positions as Vice Principal at Bloomfield Education Association and Vice President of Bloomfield Public Schools. An accomplished presenter, Fleres has shared insights at various conferences and universities, including YAI, Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, and Seton Hall University. Educational credentials include a Superintendent Certification from Caldwell University, an M.A. in Educational Administration/Supervision, and a B.S. in Education from The College of New Jersey.
