Javier Honduvilla Coto is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg since January 2024. Prior to this role, Javier worked at Polar Signals from April 2022 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading a team to build data centre-scale profilers and defining strategic roadmaps for project success. At Facebook, from June 2018 to April 2022, Javier contributed as a Production Engineer, enhancing developer infrastructure and improving build efficiency for thousands of engineers. Earlier experiences include internships at Shopify and Facebook, where Javier focused on user-facing features, infrastructure improvements, and performance optimizations. Javier began the technical career with a web development position at Emtrics in 2013. Javier holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and completed an exchange program at Aalto University.
