Duncan Mavin is an experienced editor and journalist with a strong background in financial and economic reporting. Currently serving as an Editor at Bloomberg since June 2024, Mavin previously held the position of Senior Assignment Editor at The Washington Post, focusing on business and economics coverage. Mavin has also worked as a Journalist at Tortoise Media and held several key roles at Dow Jones, including Managing Editor of Barron's Group and Editorial Advisor to the CEO. Prior experience includes significant editorial positions at The Wall Street Journal, National Post, and Bank of Nova Scotia, accompanied by a strong academic foundation with a BA in History and an MA in Historical Research from Durham University.
