Ameen Yazdavar, Ph.D., is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in power systems and electronics. Currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at Bloom Energy since August 2020, Ameen previously held positions at ETAP - Operation Technology, Inc., where contributions included the development of fault location algorithms and waveform viewer specifications. Ameen's academic background includes a PhD in Power Electronics and Power Systems from the University of Waterloo, where research focused on microgrid modeling and control. Prior engineering roles involved significant project work in power system studies, protective relay settings, and electrical system designs at PIDEC and other consulting firms.
