Anna Mamwell currently serves as the Patient Involvement Lead at NHS Blood and Transplant since October 2023. With extensive experience in patient advocacy and public involvement, Anna has held multiple roles including Patient and Public Involvement Trainer at UCL Cancer Institute, where expertise in cancer health care is utilized to support research efforts. In conjunction with roles such as Social Media Manager for the NCRI, Patient Representative for various clinical initiatives, and digital support for Blood Cancer UK, Anna champions patient needs through participation in policy panels and collaborative health care strategies. Furthermore, Anna contributes as a Patient Advocate for Macmillan Cancer Support and is involved with Know AML, enhancing cancer service provisions and representing patient perspectives at various levels. Anna's background also includes a role as a Freelance Blogger for HuffPost and work as a Pharmacy Technician at Lincolnshire Cooperative Pharmacy. Education includes ongoing studies through FutureLearn, building on foundations from King Edward VII School.
