Taya Pollard has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Taya began their career as a System Administrator at the Kazakh American Free University. In 2012, they joined 8 Bit as a Digital specialist and PA. In 2013, they took on a Freelance role at TBWA. In 2016, they worked as a Game Developer at OneSoft and as a Security Engineering Experiments at Code Crumbles. In 2018, they became an Independent Security Researcher at Bugcrowd Inc and a DevOps Engineer at Blockstream.

Taya Pollard's education history includes an Engineer's Degree in IT from the Kazakh-American Free University College from 2006 to 2009, and IT studies from the Kazakh-American Free University from 2009 to 2011. Taya also has a number of certifications, including iOS App Developer from an online course in 2015, Digital Strategy Training from the Leto Digital Marketing Agency in 2014, Dark Marketing Training from the Affect Digital Marketing Agency in 2013, Social Media Strategy Training from the Hungry Boys Creative Agency in 2013, a Filmmaking Course from CNL in 2012, 1C Programming Course from 1C in 2008, an Objective Programming Course from UPK in 2006, and an Ethical Hacker certification obtained in April 2018.
