Aileen Gomes serves as the Chief Of Staff at BlockJoy since May 2022, following a six-year tenure at Mattel, Inc. from February 2016 to May 2022, where Aileen held the title of Do-er of things and stuff. Prior to that, Aileen worked as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Sproutling from February 2015 until its acquisition by Mattel in 2016. Aileen's earlier experience includes serving as Volunteer Services Coordinator and Wellness Coordinator at Shanti, an organization known for supporting terminally ill individuals and those affected by HIV/AIDS. Aileen holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music/Piano Performance from the University of Florida, where studies were completed between 1996 and 1999, as well as prior studies at Florida State University from 1994 to 1996.
