Ed Boucas is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the cybersecurity and private security sectors. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Blockbit since January 2016, Ed has been instrumental in advancing the company's goals. In April 2022, Ed established VOTIX and serves as its Founder and Chairman. Ed was also a key member of YPO and HBS Alumni Angels of South Florida starting in January 2019 and July 2019, respectively. Previously, Ed founded CIPHER, which was acquired by Prosegur in February 2019, leading to Ed's role as CEO of Prosegur Cybersecurity until January 2022. Ed holds an OPM in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School and an Engineer’s Degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
