Zach Yuzon

Senior DevOps Engineer at BlockApps

Zach Yuzon has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they were a Workforce2000 Intern at the 1199 National Benefit Fund and a Summer Intern at Step Visual Communications. In 2018, they became a Junior DevOps Engineer at BlockApps, where they created test scripts and Jenkins pipelines to deploy arbitrary node configurations on automation, reproduced and investigated bugs identified by existing test suites on different node and network configurations, identified and debugged issues with features being developed on applications, collaborated with team to build a demo app that uses STRATO to track products through a supply chain using OAuth and Private chains, and aided clients and their support requests regarding general questions, bugs, etc. In 2019, they became a Spatial Computing Intern at Weill Cornell Medicine, where they used Mixed Reality technology to work on the MR Lab project which uses the Hololens to assist the laboratory in improving and simplifying workflows, enable contamination-free data entry, and maximize sample integrity. The MR Lab project assists in enhancing the efficiency of the daily activities of precision medicine and molecular pathology laboratories.

Zach Yuzon attended Midwood High School from 2012 to 2016. Zach then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at Hunter College and Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York from 2016 to 2020.
