Kamran Jivani's work experience includes serving as Senior Litigation Counsel & IP Litigation Lead at Block, where they are responsible for handling crypto and IP litigation for various departments within the company. Prior to that, they worked as Lead Administrative Patent Judge at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, USPTO, managing a team and presiding over AIA trials and ex parte appeals. Kamran also has experience as a Partner at Alston & Bird, where they supervised multiple teams, argued hearings in federal district courts, and was recognized as CarMax's "Go-To" Outside Counsel for patent litigation.

Kamran Jivani began their education in 1999 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Kamran completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. In the same year, they enrolled at the University of Illinois College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in 2006. Prior to that, in 2002 to 2003, Kamran also studied Computer Science/Law at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
