Tapan Halani has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of devops and cloud solutions architecture. Tapan started working as a freelance devops and cloud solutions architect in 2017, both on Upwork and as a self-employed freelancer. In 2020, they became a devops and cloud infrastructure consultant at blinq. In 2022, they joined the Data on Kubernetes Community as an explorer and also worked as a Kubernetes and AWS cloud consultant at Tegro. In 2021, Tapan was a devops and cloud infrastructure consultant at Sys3 Tecnologia, where they worked on various tasks such as writing Terraform code, migrating workloads, and making backups of Kubernetes resources. Prior to that, they worked at Lyearn as a backend and infrastructure engineer, where they designed and deployed Kubernetes clusters, created customized Docker images, and packaged and deployed various applications on Kubernetes. Tapan also worked as a backend engineer at Lyearn, where they designed architecture, maintained database technologies, and resolved bugs.

Tapan Halani completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, from the year 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Ansible Essential Training" from LinkedIn in December 2018, "CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer" from The Linux Foundation in September 2021, and "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020.
