Andrey Ivanov has worked in the field of AI algorithms and computer vision for the past 16 years. Andrey began their career in 2005 as an Algorithms Engineer for the Israel Defense Forces, where they were responsible for research, analysis, and implementation of electronic warfare and electronic countermeasure (EW/ECM) systems algorithms using Matlab. In 2008, they joined Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as a Computer Vision System Engineer and Senior Computer Vision & Algorithms Engineer. In 2018, they moved to Inspiring Vision LTD as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Engineer. In 2019, they joined Intel Corporation as a Sr. Computer Vision and Algorithm Engineer in the Image Quality Algorithm Team (RealSense). Currently, they are an AI Algorithm Engineer at Blink Technologies, Inc., where they are responsible for algorithms leading and development in different projects, including facial attributes analysis, age and gender estimation, face embeddings analysis, and algorithm implementation in TensorFlow/Pytorch for Linux and Windows. Andrey is also responsible for eyeglasses lens segmentation using DL networks, lens edge detection by traditional CV and DL approaches, and glasses measurements algorithms implementation.

Andrey Ivanov obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2001 and 2006. Andrey then went on to obtain their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Vision & Image Processing from Tel Aviv University between 2006 and 2012.
