Bruno Denuit has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bruno is currently the Founder and CTO of Blaze, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Bruno worked at Enplug, Inc. from November 2012 to September 2021, serving as the Chief Software Architect. In this role, they were responsible for the architectural design and direction of various products, including the ad server, player, and associated app framework.

Before their time at Enplug, Bruno founded and served as the CTO of Contur from October 2011 to November 2012. Bruno also worked as a Software Consultant at Barclays Capital from January 2011 to October 2011. In addition, Bruno worked as a Technical Architect at Societe Generale from July 2010 to January 2011.

Bruno's impressive career also includes significant contributions to Microsoft. Bruno worked as a Senior Software Design Engineer from October 2006 to April 2010, specializing in SQL Azure, Microsoft's cloud database service. During this time, they played a key role in the design and implementation of crucial components for 800-machine database clusters worldwide. As part of the core team, Bruno contributed to the development of the data replication layer, reliable storage service, cluster-wide backup/restore functionality, and distributed test framework extensions.

Bruno's tenure at Microsoft began in October 1999 as a Software Design Engineer in the SQL Server relational engine team. In this role, they made valuable contributions to the development of various features, including the T-SQL data manipulation language, XQuery compilation, T-SQL windowed functions, and the T-SQL MERGE operator.

Bruno Denuit earned a Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington between 2001 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their degrees, Bruno obtained a certification in Stanford Advanced Computer Security from Stanford University in April 2019.
