Simone Walker has worked in the marketing industry since 2010. Simone began their career as a Corporate Account Manager at CDW, where they were responsible for helping customers choose the right technology products and services. In 2012, they joined Netrix, LLC as a Marketing Coordinator, Event Manager, and Social Media Marketing. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Event Manager at Bath Fitter and as a Community Catalyst at Gloo. In 2018, they joined IMEC Illinois as a Marketing Specialist, where they were responsible for supporting the execution of the IMEC strategic marketing plan. Since 2015, they have also been working as a Social Media Marketing Consultant for herself. In 2022, they began working as a Marketing Manager at BlastX.

Simone Walker attended Homewood-Flossmoor High School from 2001-2005. Simone then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Sales, and I/O Psychology from DePaul University in 2010. In 2013, they earned a Certificate in Effective Writing for Business and the Professions from The University of Chicago. In 2018, they obtained an Email Marketing Certificate from HubSpot Academy.
