Jesus Cortez is an experienced safety specialist currently working at Blakely Construction Co since August 2022. Previously, Jesus served as an EHS Trainer and Verification Validation Advisor at Crossfire, LLC from October 2019 to August 2022, and held positions as a Verification and Validation Advisor and Field Service Technician at Weatherford between November 2014 and October 2019. In earlier roles, Jesus worked as a Senior Team Lead at Academy Sports + Outdoors from August 2010 to October 2012. Educationally, Jesus obtained a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University (2015-2018), and pursued a degree in Music Teacher Education at The University of Texas-Pan American (2004-2005). Jesus also holds a high school diploma from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (1999-2003).
