Richard Smith has over three decades of experience in sales and business development within the safety industry. Currently serving as the Area Operation & Sales Manager at Blackwoods since April 2007, Richard drives safety sales across Victoria and is responsible for profitable growth. Previous roles at Blackwoods include managing significant contracts as a Safety Site Facilitator Manager and various branch manager positions. Richard's expertise in business development was further honed at Hagemeyer as a Business Development Manager for SAF and NT. Richard's career began at Alsafe Safety and Associated Safety, progressing through roles such as Senior Sales Representative and Sales Manager, complemented by a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from TAFE SA.
