Martin Brand is Head of North America Private Equity and Global Co-Head of Technology Investing. He also serves as a member of several of the firmā€™s investment committees.

Mr. Brand was involved in Blackstoneā€™s investments in Sphera, Ellucian, Renaissance Learning, Simpli.Fi, Refinitiv, Bumble, IntraFi, Paysafe, Vungle, Ultimate Software, Liftoff, Blue Yonder, Optiv, Kronos, Ipreo, Knight Capital Group, Lendmark, Exeter Finance, Viva, NCR, First Eagle, BankUnited, PBF Energy, Performance Food Group, Travelport, New Skies, Cine UK, NHP, Kabel BW, Kabelnetz NRW, Primacom, and Sulo.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Brand worked as a derivatives trader with Goldman Sachs in New York and Tokyo, and with McKinsey & Company in London.

Mr. Brand received a BA/MA in Mathematics and Computation, First Class Honors, from Oxford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a director of London Stock Exchange Group, UKG Software, Liftoff Mobile, and First Eagle. He is a Trustee of the American Academy Berlin.
