Steve Puertas is an experienced Industrial Design Manager at Blackstone Products, leading the Industrial Design team since July 2017 and implementing design strategies for the outdoor cooking market. Previously, Steve served as Lead Industrial Designer, managing product concepts and enhancements through research and prototyping. In addition to industry roles, Steve taught design and concept sketching as an Adjunct Professor at Utah State University from August 2019 to April 2023. Earlier in their career, Steve worked as an Industrial Designer and intern at Little Giant Ladder Systems, contributing to product development through sketching and 3D CAD modeling. Steve holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Brigham Young University and an Associate in Science from Utah Valley University.
