Rob Powell, CFA, has extensive experience in product strategy and sales within the asset management industry. Currently serving as Managing Director of Product Strategy at BlackRock since January 2015, Rob has held multiple roles at the company, including Director of Product Strategy and Director of iShares Specialist Sales. Prior to their time at BlackRock, Rob worked as an Equity Product Specialist at Legal & General Investment Management from June 2011 to January 2015 and held a Sales Support Executive position at Gartmore from February 2010 to June 2011. Rob began the career with an internship at Ignis Asset Management in 2009. Rob holds a BA Hons in Modern Languages from Newcastle University and is a CFA Charterholder.
