David Smith is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as VP of Innovation at Black Pearl, Inc. since February 2018, David leads efforts in product design and development. Prior to this role, David founded Wildcat Development Corp, focusing on engineering solutions and fostering a creative workplace environment from 2007 to September 2017. David's background also includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Complyguard Networks Inc., where innovative security solutions were developed, and as Director of Systems Engineering at RLX Technologies, contributing to next-generation server technology. Earlier career experiences include positions with NetVoice Technologies, 3dfx, STB Systems, BNSF Railway, and Abbott Laboratories. David holds educational credentials from The University of Texas at Arlington and Louisiana State University, along with training at ACAT.
