Chris Nissen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in national security, intelligence, and advanced communication systems. Currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Souhegan Group LLC, a Visiting Professor at the Applied Research Laboratories for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) at the University of Maryland, and a member of the Advisory Board for Blackops Partners, Chris Nissen has held significant leadership roles since October 2021. Prior experience includes over nine years at The MITRE Corporation, where responsibilities included Director of Asymmetric Threat Response and Portfolio Director for the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. With a strong technical background and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo, Chris Nissen has developed and led numerous high-impact programs and teams in critical national defense areas.
