Shaun Egelton has extensive experience in treasury and finance roles. Shaun started their career at Global Portfolios in 1990 as an Accounts Officer. Shaun then moved on to roles at International and Colonial First State as a Monitoring Officer and CBA Financial Services as an Investment Manager. In 1989, they joined Commonwealth Financial Services as an Investment Manager, where they were responsible for formulating foreign exchange hedging policies and managing cash flows. In 1997, they became the Treasurer at Bayer Australia Limited and was in charge of financial administration for Australia and New Zealand. From 2003 to 2008, they served as the Group Treasurer at CHARLES PARSONS (HOLDINGS) PTY LTD, a leading textile and soft furnishing group. Shaun later became the Corporate Treasurer at RICEGROWERS LIMITED, a global rice food company, where they worked until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Group Treasury at Blackmores, Australia's leading natural health company.
Shaun Egelton obtained a Masters in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA in the year 2000 to 2001. Before that, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from FINSIA in 1998. Shaun also pursued a Masters Degree in Applied Finance and Economics from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (formerly Securities Institute of Australia), although the specific dates for this degree are unknown.
