Riaan van Rensburg is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions across various domains. Currently at Blackmagic Design since May 2022, Riaan focuses on software development for media synchronization and cloud storage integration, enhancing cloud interfacing layers and maintaining python-based integration testing. Prior to this role, Riaan worked at 5DT from February 2009 to May 2022, contributing to machine learning applications, flight, land-based vehicle, and virtual reality simulators, while also developing supporting utilities and frameworks. Riaan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pretoria, earned between 2005 and 2008.
