Sean Desmond has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Sean started their career in the US Navy as a Naval Officer from December 1996 to August 2003. Following that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman from August 2003 to August 2006.

Afterwards, Sean served as a Technical Intelligence Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency for a significant period of time, from August 2006 to May 2017. During their time there, they gained valuable expertise in intelligence analysis and technical operations.

In 2012, they briefly joined the Executive Office of the President as a Senior Policy Analyst for a year. Then, in 2017, they joined Deloitte Consulting as a Specialist Leader until February 2018.

Between February and December 2018, Sean worked at Vencore Inc. as a Senior Technologist/Policy Advisor. Shortly after that, they became the President of Spectral Decisions, LLC in January 2018.

Finally, Sean took on the role of Chief Data Officer at BlackLynx in December 2018 and continues to hold this position. With their extensive background and expertise, Sean Desmond has gained significant experience in various fields including intelligence analysis, engineering, policy analysis, and leadership.

Sean Desmond earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Virginia between 2005 and 2010.
