Sourav D. has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and technology. In 2011, they started their career at Ericsson as an Analyst, where they played a key role in formulating network capacity plans and achieving significant operational savings for the customer. Sourav then advanced to the role of Senior Engineer, implementing predictive maintenance models and improving KPI performance. As a Technology Lead, Sourav implemented sentiment scoring metrics and visualization best practices, resulting in reduced monthly complaints and customized interfaces for Tableau workbooks. Sourav then joined ChaiOne as a Lead Data Scientist, before moving on to Tripadvisor as an Auction Analytics Manager. Currently, Sourav is working as a Principal Consultant in Data Science at BBI.

Sourav D. completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics from the Wisconsin School of Business from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, between 2007 and 2011. Sourav's education began at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they studied Science from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Sourav has also earned certifications such as Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner from SAS in May 2020, Ericsson Business Unit Global Services Certified Professional from Ericsson in October 2016, and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon in February 2019.
