Terance Emory is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in database administration, web development, and technical instruction. Currently serving as the Manager of Database Administration at Black Stone Minerals, L.P. since October 2010, Terance oversees SQL Server and Oracle database environments, focusing on performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery. Prior roles include Senior Application Developer, where responsibilities included .NET development and SharePoint management, as well as being a Freelance Web Developer and Designer at Web-Strands since 2004. Terance also worked at Marathon Technology Inc. for five years as a Technical Instructor, developing courseware and delivering training, and began as a Project Manager at Insight Associates, progressing from a junior developer to senior developer before taking on project management responsibilities. Terance holds a degree from Texas A&M University.
