Richard Doone is an experienced professional in the fields of infrastructure, security, and solutions architecture. Currently serving as Head of Infrastructure & Security at Blackpearl Group since January 2020, Richard leads initiatives for AI-driven sales and marketing solutions targeted at SMEs. Prior to this role, Richard spent over 15 years at SITA, where responsibilities ranged from Solutions Architect focused on Cloud and collaboration technologies to managing a global support team for messaging infrastructure. Richard's earlier positions included IBM Lotus Notes administration and consultancy roles across various organizations, providing expertise in migration and troubleshooting of Lotus Notes systems. Richard holds a BA in International Relations and Political Philosophy from Victoria University of Wellington.
