Bill Romanchuk has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Bill started their career as a teacher at Hughenden Public School in 1985 and then moved on to become a teacher at Concordia University College of Alberta in 1989. After teaching for nearly 12 years, they transitioned into school administration and became the principal of John Maland High School in 2004 and Leduc Composite High School in 2010. In 2012, they took on the role of Associate Superintendent at Black Gold Regional School before being promoted to Superintendent / CEO in 2019.
Bill Romanchuk completed their high school education at H.A. Kostash High School from 1965 to 1977. Bill then attended Camrose Lutheran College from 1977 to 1979, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Bill went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Alberta, which they completed from 1980 to 1983. Continuing their education, they obtained a Bachelor of Education in social studies/science from the University of Alberta, completing it from 1983 to 1985. In 1985, Bill briefly attended Concordia University of Edmonton, studying Chemistry. Lastly, they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Change Management from Athabasca University, completing it from 1998 to 2001.
