Julia O'Brien serves as the Vice President of Operations & General Counsel at BL Companies, a position held since November 2003. Prior to this role, Julia O'Brien was the Vice President & General Counsel at the same company and also worked at Updike, Kelly & Spellacy as an Associate in the Business Law Practice Group from April 2002 to November 2003. Earlier experience includes serving as Counsel at Packard BioScience Company and Dexter Corporation in 2000, and as an Associate in the Business Law Department at Day Pitney LLP from December 1996 to December 1998. Julia O'Brien holds an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where recognition included the Am. Jur Award for Contracts.
