Katey St John is a versatile freelance journalist and media professional with a strong background in video production. Currently serving as a Freelance Journalist at BK Reader since February 2022, Katey develops documentary-style videos that highlight community stories. In addition to this role, Katey works as a Digitizer at ABC News and as an Assistant Editor at Ark Media, both positions starting in 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Post Production Assistant at Insider, Inc., a Video Production Fellow at Boulder International Film Festival, and a Video Production intern at Pitch Deck Fire, where Katey honed skills in video content creation and editing. Katey holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Colorado Boulder.
