Mads Andersen is a Senior System Engineer at BK Medical since September 2022, specializing in algorithm development for intraoperative ultrasound imaging. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Scientist MR at Philips from January 2016 to September 2022, where Mads supported technical, clinical, and neuroscience research involving 7T MR systems and optimized MR sequences using C/C++ and MATLAB for signal processing, reconstruction, and data analysis. Mads also contributed to significant projects such as real-time motion correction of the brain and quantitative imaging. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher at Amager og Hvidovre Hospital and PhD student at the Danish Research Centre for MR, along with teaching assistant positions at leading universities. Mads holds multiple degrees in Medicine and Technology from DTU and the University of Copenhagen, as well as a Bachelor of Science from both institutions.
