Chris Beers is a Principal Acoustical Engineer at BK Medical, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of acoustic technologies for medical ultrasound transducers since April 2018. Prior experience includes roles as an Acoustical Engineer and Advanced Development Intern at Sound Technology from February 2007 to April 2018, focusing on transducer performance and characterization. Earlier internships were completed at Akustica, Starkey Labs, and GE, where contributions spanned from MEMS microphone testing to analyzing hearing aid acoustics and examining fluorescent lamp interactions. Chris Beers holds a Master’s degree in Acoustics from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics & Music from the University of Hartford.
