Werner Humbs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in managing and consulting within the ceramics and materials science sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director at BJS Ceramics GmbH since April 2015, Werner previously held roles as a Senior Consultant and Manager at UMS Consulting GmbH & Co. KG and as Head of Start-Up Ceramic Fibers & Composites at SGL Carbon, where responsibilities included Six Sigma management. Earlier experience includes positions as Principal Scientist in OLED Development at Samsung SDI and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiteit van Amsterdam. Werner began academic pursuits as a Research Scientist at Universität Regensburg, following the completion of a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg.
