Chris Watts has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Chris started their career as a student at WUSM MHA in 2003 and continued until 2005. Chris then joined Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2005, where they held several roles including Administrative Fellow, Associate Administrator, and Director of Ambulatory Services. In 2011, Chris joined BJC HealthCare and worked as the Vice President of Capital and Program Planning until 2014. Chris was then promoted to Vice President of Planning and Construction and held this position until 2020. From 2016 to 2020, they also served as the President of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals. Finally, in October 2020, Chris became the Chief Strategy Officer at BJC HealthCare.
Chris Watts attended Truman State University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a focus on Health Administration. Chris then attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Master of Health Administration degree in Healthcare.
