Thomas McMurtrie, AIA, currently serves as an Architect at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, a position held since April 2018. Prior to this role, Thomas gained significant experience at Harvard University while pursuing a Master of Architecture degree from 2013 to 2018. During a prior tenure at BIG from May 2015 to July 2016, Thomas worked as a Junior Designer and Design Assistant. Additional positions include a brief stint as an Architecture Extern at Maryann Thompson Architects and another at BIG, both in 2015, as well as an internship at the Architecture Design & Research Institute of Tongji University in 2010. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Lehigh University in 2012.
