Michael Gottlieb is an experienced entrepreneur and managing director with a robust background in the insurance and consulting sectors. As the founder and managing director of BizCover since June 2007, Michael pioneered Australia's first online commercial insurance marketplace, targeting SMEs in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, Michael has managed BizInsure since January 2012, offering a streamlined business insurance platform in the US with partnerships with notable insurers. Before these ventures, Michael co-founded Mega Capital Pty Ltd, a professional risks insurance broker, and held a strategy consultant position at Letsema Consulting and Advisory. Earlier career highlights include serving as head physiotherapist for the South African national football team during the World Cup in 1998 and for the Orlando Pirates Football Club. Michael holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of the Witwatersrand, earned between 1991 and 1995.
