Daniel Timms has a diverse work experience in the field of cardiovascular devices and research. Daniel founded BiVACOR Inc and served as the CEO and CTO from 2013 to 2022, with a previous stint as the founder and CTO from 2008 to 2013. Daniel also worked as an Associate Director of Cardiac Support at the Texas Heart Institute from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they were a Cardiovascular Device Research Engineer at the Helmholtz Institute from 2008 to 2010. Daniel began their career as a Cardiovascular Research Engineer at The Prince Charles Hospital from 2004 to 2008.

Daniel Timms completed their education from 2001 to 2005 at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), earning a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
