Jared McCannon has extensive experience as a software engineer, with their most recent role being a Senior Software Engineer at Bitwarden starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Lead Engineer at AccuLynx.com from May 2017 to July 2023, where they collaborated with teammates to deliver new features and products. Jared also worked as a .NET Developer at GOEX Corporation from February 2016 to April 2017, designing and implementing full stack solutions for their internal manufacturing software. Before that, Jared was an Associate ERP Programmer Analyst at UniCarriers Americas Corporation from August 2015 to February 2016, where they migrated and manipulated data between legacy ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Jared also researched various platforms and systems used by the company and reviewed X++ code. Earlier in their career, Jared served as a Software Engineer at Sentry Insurance from May 2012 to July 2015, where they enhanced and supported PolicyCenter and integrated systems for a major insurance company. Jared also acted as a Configuration Manager and lead forms developer. Before that, Jared worked as an MIS Intern at Crest Foods from May 2010 to January 2012, providing technical support for software and hardware issues for multiple clients. Additionally, they served as the Director of Technology for the Beloit College Student Congress from May 2010 to May 2011, maintaining their website, server, and databases.

Jared McCannon pursued their undergraduate education at Beloit College from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, with a focus on Computer Science, Computational Visualization and Modeling, and Chemistry.
