Paloma Maeli has a diverse work experience in the financial and e-commerce sectors. Starting in 2015, they worked as an Analista Prime at Banco Bradesco until August 2016. Paloma then joined Nubank in August 2018, initially as a Chargeback Analyst and later transitioning to a Fraud Analyst role until July 2021. In 2021, they joined Shopee and worked in Payments until November of the same year. Currently, Paloma is employed at Bitso, where they started as a Fraud Recovery Specialist in February 2022. Paloma then progressed to become a Fraud Prevention Senior Specialist in October 2022, and is currently working as a Fraud Ops Lead since July 2023.
Paloma Maeli is currently pursuing a Curso Técnico Integrado in Processos Gerenciais at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, which started in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023. Additionally, they are also studying Gestão de Produtos at Escola PM3 since 2021. Paloma has obtained certifications in Curso de Product Management from Cursos PM3 and Reactor Certification - CRC from Chainalysis Inc., with the latter being achieved in June 2022.
