Gabriel Castagno is an experienced software developer currently serving as a Sr. Python Developer at Bitsight since September 2022, following the acquisition of ThirdPartyTrust, where Gabriel worked as a Backend Developer from August 2021 to June 2023. Previously, Gabriel held the role of Sr. Full Stack Developer and team leader at J.P. Morgan from April 2019 to July 2021, leading a team of five developers and focusing on full stack development and site reliability engineering. Gabriel's technical expertise includes a common stack of React and Python with frameworks such as Django and Flask, and experience managing infrastructure on Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes across AWS and private clouds, as well as task automation using Ansible and Python. Prior experience includes a position as Database Administrator/SRE/Developer at Banco Patagonia from 2012 to April 2019, where responsibilities involved administering multiple versions of SQL Server and Oracle databases, and implementing high availability and disaster recovery techniques. Gabriel holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Software Developer Technician qualification from Universidad Nacional de La Matanza.
