Shubham Jiyani has a range of work experience in various companies. In 2019, they worked at XITIJ INFOTECH as a Web Developer, where they collaborated with senior developers to upgrade features of an existing website using AngularJS MVC Frameworks, JavaScript, AJAX, and ReactJS. They also implemented role-based access and permissions and achieved a milestone in a company hackathon. In 2021, Shubham worked at Geek Web Solution as a Cloud Engineer, where they designed, developed, and deployed microservices in AWS EC2 instances. They also introduced automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and created RESTful APIs in Node. In 2022, Shubham joined Chubb as a Security Software Engineer and collaborated with senior developers to create a POC for registry scanning. They were responsible for executing vulnerability scans and deploying defenders on AKS. They also worked with the cloud security team to ensure compliance with security requirements. Currently, Shubham is working at bitscape as a Cloud System Engineer I.
Shubham Jiyani completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology from 2017 to 2021. Shubham then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2021 to 2022.
In addition to their formal education, Shubham has obtained various certifications. Shubham received the "Kubernetes for the Absolute Beginners" certification from KodeKloud in July 2022. In 2021, they earned the "JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures" certification from freeCodeCamp. In 2020, they were recognized as the winner of "Code Light Hackathon" by Red & White Multimedia Education. Shubham also holds certifications in Java and C/C++ from Red & White Multimedia Education, obtained in 2019 and 2018, respectively.
Looking ahead, Shubham is planning to obtain the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023. Shubham has also expressed interest in cybersecurity by completing the "Introduction to Cybersecurity" course offered by Cisco and a virtual experience in software engineering with JPMorgan Chase & Co., though specific dates of completion are not provided for these courses.
