Sebastian Paff has a wealth of experience in the professional world. Sebastian began their career in 2012 as an Intern in the Office of Dr. Johann Wadephul, Member of German Parliament in the Deutscher Bundestag. After that, they worked as a Trainee for Hanse-Office in 2012. In 2013, they took on the role of Junior Policy Assistant and Bluebook Trainee at the European Commission, DG Internal Market and Services. In 2014, they moved on to Weber Shandwick as a Junior Associate. In 2015, they joined Acumen Public Affairs as a Junior Consultant. In 2016, they became the Chairman of JEF Essen and an Executive Board Member of JEF NRW at Junge Europäische Föderalisten - JEF Deutschland. In 2021, they took on the role of Social Media Agent at Hanseatic Dienstleistungen GmbH. In 2020, they began working as a Freelance Translator, Proofreader, Editor, and Researcher. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Recruiting Specialist at bits&birds.
Sebastian Paff began their educational journey in 1992, when they attended Helene-Lange-Gymnasium in Hamburg, Germany. Sebastian graduated in 2006 with an Abitur (Zeugnis der allgemeinen Hochschulreife). From 2007 to 2011, they attended Universität Erfurt, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Staatswissenschaften (Governance and Public Policy). In 2009 and 2010, Sebastian was an Erasmus student at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University, studying European and International Law, International Relations. In 2012 and 2013, they completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law at Leiden University. Currently, Sebastian is enrolled at FernUniversität in Hagen, studying Project Management. In addition, Sebastian has obtained various certifications from DataCamp and LinkedIn, such as Understanding Data Science, Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines, and Developing Business Acumen.
